Job Description

Salary: $66,000 - 106,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least two years of recent full-time experience in product management, technology sales, or technology consulting.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a comparable degree from an accredited college or university.
• We need proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, or a similar language, along with working knowledge of SQL, database fundamentals, common software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• We expect familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• We require knowledge of computer infrastructure concepts, web-based or n-tier architectures, and database and middleware performance tuning.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging senior technical leaders, solution and enterprise architects, and owners to gather requirements, support technical sales, or evaluate technology.
• We require the ability to travel and work at client sites.

• We work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver R&D tax credit consulting services, including leading client interviews and discussions, carrying out tax technical research, and building business and industry expertise.
• We conduct interviews with subject matter experts and review supporting documentation to translate technical software development activities into tax definitions for qualified research and development.
• We analyze technical materials to determine and document the tax treatment of items.
• We prepare technical narratives that clearly and accurately communicate complex technical concepts using standard industry terminology.
• We collaborate with our cross-functional engineering team to support R&D tax credit consulting, lead interviews with technical specialists, perform research to ensure findings align with current tax law and section 41 guidance, and develop expertise across a broad range of businesses and industries.
